Barnard Construction Company is looking for professionals to join our Pipestem Reservoir Project Team
in Jamestown, ND. Barnard is a heavy-civil construction company with projects underway all across
North America. Our team specializes in dam construction and rehabilitation, power transmission and
distribution, inland marine, oil and gas, and underground work. We offer competitive wages, 401(k)s, a
generous health plan, and opportunities to grow within our organization. The Pipestem Reservoir Project is beginning in March of 2023 with an anticipated end date in 2025. Wage rate compensation is in accordance with North Dakota Prevailing Wage Rates for Heavy Construction Projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Must possess competence in the following areas in order to perform the role in a safe, productive manner:

Understanding of construction specifications and blueprints.
• Plan and coordinate production efforts of craft workers and subcontractors.
• Act as liaison between field engineering and trades to ensure construction complies with contract documents.
• Conduct daily safety meetings with crews and subcontractors.
• Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Position Requirements:

• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to handle weight up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to maintain balance.
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods.
• Able and willing to work long, irregular and varied hours, 50 to 70 hours per week.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
• Ability to safely and effectively perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal , state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
