Description

Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for testing and inspecting fire alarm systems in specified buildings. Identify and report problems or discrepancies. Ensures customer satisfaction for all inspections. Monitors fire alarm panel. Interacts with building owner or building engineer prior to, during and after completion of the testing process. Reviews report results and next steps as necessary. Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

Skills:

Basic ability to read and understand blueprints and design drawings.

Developing exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure; ability to maintain awareness of, and seek to meet the needs and wants of the customer without being prompted.

Basic math skills.

Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Experience:

Minimum of one year of previous, relevant field experience preferred but not necessary.

Experience in one or more of the following industries is helpful: electronic/electrical, fire alarm & life safety, and/or sprinkler systems.

Qualifications

Experience
0 - 3 years: Experience in one or more of the following industries is helpful: electronic/electrical, fire alarm & life safety, and/or sprinkler systems. (preferred)

Licenses & Certifications
Drive With CDL (preferred)
